„Computational Fashion“ (EN)

Dr. Sabine Seymour, Founder and CEO, SUPA & MOONDIAL

The body as interface. The skin as metaphor. The keynote covers the analog and digital futures of fashion from chemical processes in the fight against plastic to biometric data in the age of GDPR. Fashion is a reflection of society – or a tool for activism as demonstrated by GenZ’s Fridays for Future?

Dr. Sabine Seymour

As a technologist, Sabine conceives products at the intersection of sensors, data, and the body. As an economist, she develops inventive asset ownership models with distributed technologies.

Her recent venture SUPA® is tokenizing the body™ – and provides contextualized data from GenZ to stakeholders in health. MOONDIAL is the nexus between silicon and style™ – a think tank for clients like Intel, Siemens, GE, Disney.

Sabine authored 3 books, was professor at Parsons School of Design, and appeared on PBS, NBC and in Wired, Vogue, Forbes, New York Times.

Sabine holds a PhD, joint-MSc/MBA from Vienna University of Economics and Columbia University, and Master Interactive Telecommunications from NYU. She is an avid snowboarder, surfer, and sneakerhead.
