Der Fashion-Film ABJECTIVE inszeniert Abjekt und Abjektion: Das Haar, Träger kultureller Identität und Objekt der Begierde, wird zum abstoßenden Element.
Der Begriff Abjekt wurde von Julia Kristeva geprägt. In diesem Fall definiert er das sprichwörtliche Haar in der Suppe, das Ekel verursacht und eine Neurose zum Ausbruch bringt, die das scheinbar perfekte Familienbild zerstört.
Die Tonebene untermalt die alptraumartigen Bilder der sich intensivierenden Krise.

ABJECTIVE is a fashion film exploring abject and abjection by the means of hair as a stylistic medium in film. The abject, a term formed by Julia Kristeva, is transported by the ambiguous object of hair, that can be seen on the one hand as object of desire but in this case leads to a break out of crisis triggered by the disgust. The sound level that is once more emphasizing on the inner crisis the main character is undergoing underlines the disruption of the perfect family.
The sound designer Richard Eigner (Ritornell) composed the cinematic soundtrack.
